Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Angle: accounts, plans and trials, who owns your photos, what you may upload, and how to cancel or close your account.
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Angle (the "Service"), operated from [City, State, Country]. By creating an account, uploading a photo, or using any part of Angle, you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you may bind that business. If you do not accept them, do not use Angle.
1. What Angle does
Angle turns product photos into additional product angles. You supply one or two photos of a product, or let Angle read photos already on your Shopify store. Angle generates alternative shots, and you choose which ones to keep. Approved photos are delivered as 2048 x 2048 PNG files you can download, or publish to the Shopify product you picked. Angle is a tool for product imagery. It is not a photography studio, a styling service, or an advertising agency.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and at least the age of majority where you live.
- Give your real name and a working email address, and keep them current.
- One account per person or business. Do not share logins or resell access.
- You are responsible for anything done under your account and for keeping your password private. Angle blocks passwords that appear in known breach lists, but you still choose a strong one and do not reuse it.
- Tell us promptly about any use of your account you did not authorize.
3. Free photos, plans and trials
- Every new account can generate 5 photos free, without a card.
- Paid plans: Starter $9.99 per month for 200 photos, Studio $24.99 for 500, and Scale $49.99 for 1,000. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax you owe.
- Paid plans begin with a 7-day trial that requires a card. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged. Otherwise the first payment is taken on day 8 and the plan renews monthly.
- You can cancel at any time from Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then it does not renew. Canceling does not refund that period.
- Switching plans takes effect immediately and the charge is adjusted for the part of the month left. Upgrades charge the difference; downgrades credit it.
- Monthly photo allowances cover photos generated in the current period. Unused photos do not carry into the next month.
- Photographs you keep are yours to use after your plan ends, but generating new ones needs an active plan or the free allowance.
- Referrals: when someone you invited pays for their first month, you receive one month of your own plan as account credit. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.
4. Your photos and what you grant us
You keep ownership of every photo you upload and every photo Angle generates for you. You give Angle a limited license to store, process, and display those photos only to run the Service for you: generating angles, letting you review and download them, and publishing the ones you approve to the Shopify store you connected. We do not sell them or use them to train models outside your workspace. If you delete a photo or close your account, we remove it from your workspace and from our systems, except where we must keep a copy by law or in a short-lived backup that is later overwritten.
5. What you may not do
- Upload photos you do not have the rights to use, or photos of other people's products or branding without permission.
- Generate or publish photos that are unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that impersonate a real person or brand.
- Try to copy or imitate another brand's product photography so shoppers are misled about what they are buying.
- Interfere with Angle, scan or probe it for weaknesses, bypass photo limits or age checks, reverse engineer it, or automate sign-ups.
- Send us viruses or malicious code, or use the Service to attack another system.
- Resell or sublicense the Service itself, or run it as your own competing tool without our written permission.
6. Shopify connections
If you connect a Shopify store, you authorize Angle to read your product listings and images and to write photos you have approved. Angle publishes only the photos you approve, and you can disconnect the store at any time from Catalog or Settings. You stay responsible for what appears on your store, including approved photos. Angle is not affiliated with Shopify, and your Shopify store is also governed by Shopify's own terms.
7. Generated photos
Angle uses artificial intelligence, so results vary. A generated photo may differ from your product in material, stitching, scale, or colour. That is why every shot waits for your approval before it is downloaded or published. Review photos before using them in a listing, and only publish shots that honestly show the item you sell. Angle does not promise that a generated photo is unique to you, because the same model may produce similar results for other customers.
8. Availability, changes and limits
We aim to keep Angle running, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may adjust prices with notice before your next renewal. If we make a change that materially reduces what you pay for, you may cancel before it takes effect and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
9. Suspension and closing your account
If you break these terms, we can warn you, limit the Service, or suspend or close your account, and we can refuse to serve you again. Where it is practical we will tell you why. You can close your account at any time; we will then delete your workspace data as described in section 4, and any prepaid period is not refunded unless the law requires it.
10. Angle's brand and software
The Angle name, wordmark, interface and underlying software belong to Angle. These terms do not give you any right to use them, and you may not copy the interface to build something that looks like Angle.
11. Other companies
Angle relies on third parties for payments, hosting, email and the AI models behind generation. Each has its own terms and privacy notice, and we are not responsible for their services beyond what section 13 allows.
12. No warranties
Angle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. That includes warranties about accuracy, fitness for a purpose, and uninterrupted service. Nothing here excludes rights you cannot give up, such as statutory consumer rights where they apply.
13. Liability limits
We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or business interruption, and we are not liable for how you or your shoppers interpret a photo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Angle in the 12 months before the claim arose. This section does not limit liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
14. If someone blames Angle for your use
If you upload photos you had no right to use, break these terms, or misuse your Shopify connection and Angle receives a claim because of it, you will cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, in resolving it.
15. Copyright complaints
We take copyright seriously and remove infringing material when we receive a valid notice. See our DMCA policy for how to report material or file a counter-notice.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and tell you by email or in the app when a change matters to you. If you keep using Angle after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not, cancel before they apply.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [City, State, Country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before going to court, please contact us and give us 30 days to resolve the issue. Nothing here stops you from using the dispute process your own consumer law gives you.
